Onic Prima Porridge didn’t just appear out of nowhere. In the midst of the pandemic, when many people chose to stay at home and reduce outside activities, we took action by conducting research. We realized that creating a high-quality and reliable product required extra effort.

Our research journey started by visiting several important institutions, including the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). There, we received valuable insights on how to create a product that is not only healthy but also safe and practical. Additionally, we collaborated with IPB University, which has deep knowledge of local food ingredients that can be further developed.

It didn’t stop there, we also collaborated with various factories to find partners who could help produce Onic Prima Porridge to the highest standards. The pandemic didn’t stop us from moving forward. Instead, it became a moment for us to innovate and ensure that Onic Prima Porridge is more than just an ordinary instant porridge.

One of the biggest challenges in selling porridge is its shelf life. Typically, porridge can’t be sold over long distances because it spoils quickly. But with Onic Prima Porridge, we wanted to change that. Onic Prima Porridge is not only long-lasting but also practical and can be shipped across Indonesia. Thanks to modern sterilization technology, the porridge stays fresh without preservatives, making it safe to be delivered anywhere without worrying about spoilage.

Our vision doesn’t stop at Indonesia. We want Onic Prima Porridge to penetrate international markets. With its high quality, this product has the potential to be exported overseas, especially for those who love to travel or for Indonesians living abroad who miss the taste of practical and healthy Indonesian food.

After a process of research and collaboration with various parties, Onic Prima Porridge was born a porridge that is not only healthy and practical but also meaningful. We use organic rice from partnered farmers, without preservatives, and part of our profits are dedicated to supporting free education for underprivileged children.
